Remember the good old days of elementary school art class. Around each holiday you had the pleasure of drawing pictures of holiday themed.. things. I remember drawing pictures of leprechaun in art class around St. Patties day. I also remember the consequences of not wearing green but that is another story. Anyway, leprechaun were always depicted as these happy go lucky little guys with no care in the world other than finding four leaf clovers, rainbows, and pots of gold. I quickly thought to myself, what if there was an unlucky leprechaun? is it possible? Sure!
This leprechaun didnt forget to wear his green but he is sore out of luck. I had never seen an unlucky leprechaun (um.. or any for that matter but roll with me here) so I decided to create one. One of the many thrills of illustration.
He stepped on his four leaf clover, is loosing his lucky pot o gold, and here comes the rain. Dang!
Happy St. Patricks Day! I was honored to just find out that this illustration I did and contributed to I stock’s collection, was chosen as “Vector of the week”. Thanks i stock!
