‘Illustration’
This is an illustration I did for Illustration friday
The subject was seed. I wasn’t overly inspired at first but then this little weird character came to my mind. Kinda plays off of the whole “you reap what you sew” mentality. Kind bizarre but we all have our weird moments. There is a little bit of meaning in some of the details that I’m sure can be easily picked out. I didn’t spend too much time on it really but I’m decently happy with the outcome. Just experimenting with some new styles and new techniques Ive learned in Illustrator..
Turns out Gradient Mesh isn’t too hateful to use if you figure out how to do it right.
This is a Painting i did of my grandpa’s dog Gus. A Christmas present for him.
It was kind of funny to paint Gus as a prestigious hunting dog pointing in a field because it is not anything he is or does. A more appropriate painting would be of him napping on the couch. He is nothing but a spoiled rotten house dog.
Anyway Gus is my Grandpa’s buddy and I know that he cherishes his companionship especially now after the passing of my grandmother. Gus loves my grandpa incredibly much too! He follows him everywhere and ignores everyone else that is in the room when my grandpa is around. My grandpa fixes Gus his own hamburger, and lets him sleep in bed with him so that may have something to do with it!
I was excited to paint this because its been a while since I have painted. I can honestly say I have not had too many opportunities to pain in general. I wish I had more time too and I hope to make more time to paint in the future.

“Little Things” is the subject for illustration Friday this week. I was pretty excited because I drew these last week and they just so happen to fit the subject perfectly. I wanted to make simple little character designs of my puppy Leo. He is in fact a “little thing” and these are also capturing him doing the cute “little things” that he does!
So there is literally an hour and 1/2 till the Illustration Friday subject changes BUT I made it! This week it was zoo and here is my contribution!
