I love the process: working through the essential steps and making lines perfect––whether it's leading to the formation of custom lettering, building a beautiful logo lockup, or creating an illustration.
From a very young age I watched my father, a custom letterer and pinstriper, create amazing work on various vehicles, motorcycles, and signage. Those years were a valuable inspiration and I picked up a trick or two. When it came time to figure out "what I wanted to be when I grew up," I knew that I was meant to draw and create.
With formal design schooling and 10 years of experience I have refined my drawing skills into more than just creating pretty lines, but also a process of creative problem solving. However, I still start every project with pencil sketches where I find the most creative freedom. I like to call myself the pencil pusher.
I've worked with clients that range from local to international. My style is well received in a diverse range of markets and audiences, such as sports, beauty / fashion, apparel, Toys / games, restaurant / food, non profits, and Ministries.
I am also occasionally found instructing design students at a couple different colleges here locally including University of Dayton and the School of Advertising Art.
